The city of Sterling is hosting a Fishing Is Fun Day at the Overland Trail Recreation Area on Colorado’s free fishing weekend. There will be a casting contest, and a biggest fish contest.
Join the Parks, Library and Recreation Department along with the Boy Scouts on June 2 from 9 a.m. until noon. Kids under 14 will receive a free hot dog meal. Adults can purchase a meal for $3.
